The Things that Lurk

Monsters of all stripes, those creatures and beings which strike fear into the hearts of others by their mere presence, the creatures found in many a myth and tale. Oftentimes these beings are those that are slayed at the end of the day to save the damsel or those which the hero must fight to win the story.  From dragons to walking plants, the things that lurk have wandered out of the pages of myth into the modern era.

Dragons

Beings found in almost every ancient and medieval tale, the firebreathing dragon is a creature that steps straight from the past into the modern day. Imperialistic and domineering by nature, every dragon is a monster in its own right, even if that is not immediately obvious as with other races; these beings can be just as cruel or kind as anything else. One thing is for sure, never cross a lizard that can eat you with a single bite.

Frankenmonster

Creations of Science and Magic, beings that are not truly living as others do, though they contain some spark of sentience within them. From parts stitched together to living dolls infused with fell magics; Frankenmonsters are creations of the War but are no longer tied directly to it. These new beings are now learning their place in a war without war.

Living Plants

Living plants:
Hidden within the foliage, The Living Plants are enigmatic beings, seamlessly blending with the natural world. Their culture revolves around conservation and their unique connection to plant life. With abilities reflecting their plant type, they walk a fragile path, sharing pain with their environment
